Founders
Zafer Gürel
Born in 1979, in Eskisehir. Graduated from İstanbul Technical University with BSc Industrial Engineering degree. He also has a masters degree of Computer Engineering from Sabanci University. He entered the IT industry as the founding partner of Ekspres Design IT Services in 1999. He is a managing partner of Advancity since 2001. Mr. Gurel is responsible for software development, project planning, and business development.
He acted as auditor and board member for İstanbul Technical University Industrial Engineering Society and was a member of European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management Studies. Through his educational life he was playing basketball in the club level, and currently playing in the amateur league.
A. Cem Atacık
Born in 1979, in İstanbul. He attended Wabash College in 1997 and after a successful year, decided to continue his education in Bogazici University. He recieved an honors degree for BA Business Administration. He also has a Masters Degree from METU for Information Systems Technologies. After working for a national TV station he co-founded Ekspres Design IT Services in 1999. He is the managing partner of Advancity since 2001. Mr. Atacik is responsible for finance, marketing, and business development.
During the university he was a member of the Ski Club, and the Underwater Sports Club. He is currently a 2 star CMAS diver, and a Member of Congress for Besiktas Gymnastics Club.
