How to Install advMassMailer?

advMassMailer Full Version and Evaluation version comes as a two different installation packages. If you have the full version of advMassMailer, then you should have a registration code which will be asked at the first usage of program not at the time of installation.

Installation of program is easy using the installation wizard. Run the setup package and follow on screen instructions.

Installation Steps

First screen of installation allows to choose the installation language. This setting only affects the setup process, not your program's language. You'll be able to use the language you desire when using program.
Preceding two screens will tell you about the installation process and the Licence Agreement. You have to accept the license agreement in order to continue.
In the two next screen you'll be asked for the installation directory, and program group name. Installation directory will be used for storing new files which advMassMailer requires. Program group will only include shortcuts to help files and uninstallation.
After reviewing Installation Summary, click Install button to begin installation. You'll be prompted when it's complete.

First Usage

advMassMailer is not a stand alone program. It's a Microsoft Outlook add-in. No icon will be placed in the program group folder for using the tool. Required shortcut is in your Outlook's compose e-mail window's toolbar. To access the shortcut follow the way shown below. Please note that images may differ from one Outlook version to another but they are similar in view and manner. These images are captured from Microsoft Outlook 2003.

Start Microsoft Outlook
Either click on the New mail button or use File/New/Mail Message path to open a new e-mail compose window.
You'll see the compose window with the advMassMailer button placed in the toolbar. It should be at the rightmost on your toolbar. A sample screen is shown below.
If you do not see advMassMailer button, than you have to perform a few additional steps to start using advMassMailer. This is because advMassMailer cannot work while Microsoft Word is your default e-mail editor. Please note that you won't be able to use advMassMailer in this case. If you have no problem with the button, you could skip this step.
- Close the compose window and return to main Outlook screen.
- Select Tools menu and click on Options,
- Select Mail Format tab,
- Uncheck theoption that forces Outlook to use Microsoft Word as your default e-mail editor. This option is named as,
  - Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages in Outlook 2003,
  - Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages in Outlook XP (a.k.a. Outlook 2002) and Outlook 2000.
- Click OK to confirm.
- Restart Outlook. After performing these steps, you'll be able to use the advMassMailer.
After preparing your message body, you can click adv Send mass mail button and begin using the program. You can find detailed information on using advMassMailer, from offline help content that is provided with your installation. Please note that you'll be asked for your registration code when you're using the advMassMailer for the first time. After completing the registration form, advMassMailer will be ready for sending.
